Black Sea Crewing Company OSCAR LLC has developed a course for women who dream of working at sea and starting a career on private and charter yachts. The knowledge gained during this course will be sufficient for interviews, employment, and subsequent work on yachts.

PROGRAM

  1. General information about working at sea.
  2. Types and varieties of yachts.
  3. Yacht structure.
  4. Safety on board.
  5. Advantages and disadvantages of working on yachts.
  6. Contract duration and work schedule.
  7. Positions on board.
  8. Daily stewardess duties on board.
  9. Laundry work: basic rules, washing, ironing, clothing delivery, chemicals.
  10. Cleaning: step-by-step cleaning of cabins, salons, and restrooms; quick cleaning of the entire yacht; morning and evening cabin service.
  11. Restaurant service: service rules, cutlery preparation, meal service, presentation, and communication with guests.
  12. Cocktails (basic recipes and presentation).
  13. Preparing a professional resume and video.
  14. Control questions before going to an interview.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greeting passengers, fulfilling their requests and inquiries to ensure a comfortable stay on board.
  • Cleaning cabins and other passenger areas of the vessel.
  • Caring for linens and passenger clothing.
  • Restaurant and bar service: serving food and drinks, including setting cutlery.
  • Assisting in organizing and conducting entertainment events for guests.

EMPLOYMENT

Upon completion of the course, each future stewardess undergoes a mandatory interview with a yacht captain. The company cooperates only with direct ship owners, captains and managers, without any intermediaries.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Age: 19-35 years
  • English: Intermediate level (B1)
  • Contract: 6 months
  • Salary: €2,000 to €3,000 starting salary (Yacht Stewardess position)

FORMAT AND DURATION

  • Online, individually.
  • Training and document preparation – three weeks.
  • Duration of training depends on experience in the field.
The courses are useful for candidates with and without maritime experience, as the training is focused on a quick introduction to the profession and a real interview with the captain, followed by employment.
